yes, paint certainly needs thinning with about 5 - 10% solvent. I'm getting pretty good at it after much trial and error. If you feel the roller "dragging" you need more solvent. Cetol, which I use for most woodwork does not need thinning. Normal "slow" hardener works for West system, just make small batches.

So, does the heat down there require extra thinning? I suspect your are in the land of "super slow" catalysts when it comes to epoxy?
