At least you admit to the mess behind the camera!Say, are those lateral teak strips purely decorative, or do they hold up what looks to be an overhead liner?
Purely decorative. The liner is a fiberglass molding and stretches all the ways down to the hull and deck joint. It is in excellent condition. It does make tracing leaks interesting as the place where the water comes out is not related to where the leak starts.
Cool. If you dont mind another question from a non-Whitby owner, how is the overhead liner affixed to the underside of the deck? A number of strategically placed tapping screws? Liberal use of velcro? both? thanks
Looks Great! The Teak strip make it.
The liner is self supporting. Click on the label "liner" and you will see another photo where I installed the engine controls.
Lookin' good!
