Chain-plate rot....

I'm always secretly happy when my neurosis about chain-plates pays off.



This is the chain-plate for the Mizzen lower shroud and well past its sell by date.

Wow I have to put that on my to do list.
Was there any wet core in the deck where the chain plate pasts through?
